Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 3, 2025
Sometimes we ask for your explicit consent to use certain features of our services. This is because some tools require us to collect, store, or securely share limited personal information. Your consent allows us to provide a safe, personalized experience while meeting privacy and legal requirements.
By agreeing, you allow us to use your information only as described in this Privacy Policy—for example, to operate the site, improve features, and maintain security. We never share your data without a legitimate reason or without protecting your privacy.
If you have questions, contact us at info@couplestherapistsnearme.com.
1. Emails and Messages to Therapists
When you contact a therapist through the website, your messages are processed through a secure system, and only the intended therapist can access them. Email is not fully secure in transit, so avoid sending very sensitive information.
By consenting, you allow your communications to be securely processed and stored to support messaging between you and your therapist.
2. Therapist Login and Professional Tools
Ontario therapists who log into their professional dashboard can manage profiles, message clients, and use professional tools. All data is stored on secure servers in compliance with Canadian privacy standards. Therapists must maintain compliance with their regulatory college's privacy requirements.

We use cookies to improve site functionality, understand usage, and personalize content. You can control cookies in your browser settings. For more details, see the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer.
Your information is encrypted and stored on secure servers. While no system can guarantee complete security, we take strong measures to protect your data. If a breach occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
We keep your information only as long as needed for our services or to meet legal obligations. Some information may be stored longer in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
