Michelle LiuRP(She/Her)
Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
My journey into couples therapy began with my own relationship. My husband and I turned to Emotionally Focused Therapy during a difficult season, and the experience was deeply transformative. It reshaped my understanding of relationships, healing, and connection, and ultimately inspired the work I do today. My philosophy is rooted in attachment and the belief that relationships are where we are most shaped and most healed. I help partners slow down, understand their patterns, and reach for each other with clarity and compassion. The most rewarding moments are when something softens and “I finally get you” or the start of a new emotional bond. I’ve completed the EFT Externship and Core Skills and am currently in supervision toward EFCT certification. With a warm, culturally attuned, and non-judgmental approach, I strive to create a space where couples feel safe enough to show up fully and build the connection they long for
