What looks like conflict is often a bid for understanding and connection.
My path into couples therapy has been shaped by over eight years of counselling working with individuals and families across a wide range of concerns. I saw how unresolved patterns from early relationships, chronic stress, and unspoken expectations showed up between partners often leaving couples feeling disconnected despite caring deeply for one another. This led me to focus my work on helping couples better understand the emotional and relational dynamics driving their interactions. My approach is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational framework that recognizes how past experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system responses influence how we show up in intimate relationships. I help couples slow down conflict, increase emotional awareness, and develop more effective ways of communicating. I work to create a space where both partners feel safe, respected, and engaged in the process, while also encouraging accountability and growth.
